I can only answer for myself. I don't dislike all rap/hiphop, but the number of pieces I like is relatively few.
As I see it there are 3 main things that people like about music. The first thing is beat. Almost everyone understands beat, and without it there is no music. The second thing is melody (or harmony), and the third is lyrics.
It's my theory that a listener will find a particular piece of music enjoyable if he likes at least 2 of these 3 qualities in it.
Rap often has little or no melody, and the lyrics may be objectionable or difficult to hear.

Unfortunately, there is no legal source for any of the songs besides the one single that's already been released.

I didn't vote because the poll did not include all 3 of my favorites: punk, ambient, industrial. Or 4 if you want to add Goth. You could even make it 5 if you throw in experimental/noise.
More poll choices next time, please!

I wanted to keep the poll somewhat limited to common genre's, which is why I didn't include the others.
