Re: Last Rites - Restarted - First Year
But, but, I won those battles last time around! With almost no losses even. How is this possible!
Clearly, this is the work of the nefarious Bob the Lich! He has great astral powers and must have used them to turn back time and change causality! This is only more proof that the world must unite against his reality perverting powers before it is to late!

Ehh... Don't be. Such is dominions after all. And its not like I have been crippled or something. Although whomever plays Pangeae is probably also quite pissed.
Then again, Bob the lich, of Ermor, is located comparably close to that province as well.

Live and learn, now you know. It isn't exactly the end of the world, Ermor seem to have that covered

Re: Last Rites - Restarted - First Year
Yeah I am pretty pissed. It changed from me winning two battles with minimal losses to losing most of my two expansion armies due to freak accidents that didn't happen last time.
That's pretty crippling considering I am right next to ermor who is being the usual LA boogeyman.

That was a pretty improbable loss alright. If it makes you feel better I could tell you that very province also ate one of my expansion parties earlier.
Then again. Of all the indies in the province. After your attack, the only one remaining is a single indy commander. I will send the scout that observed the battle to deal with him next turn and see if I cant punish him for both of us:

Re: Last Rites - Restarted - First Year
All right, here's a potential worry:
Blackguard was saying that you sometimes get bugs from a rollback:
I know that on the rolled back version of turn 11 my pretender popped up, and this time around it hasn't even said the dorment pretender gods are awakening...
is it random what turn these guys begin to wake up, or is this a ****up?

Re: Last Rites - Restarted - First Year
Eh, several people have suffered major setbacks. The null first turn has hurt me badly in the long run, and my unfamiliarity with Atlantis has made me run way behind on establishing enough forts. Plus, as was just discussed in this thread, Mictlan got mugged. Ermor is becoming a monster but everyone else is taking notice.

Re: Last Rites - Restarted - First Year
I have zero out-of-game problem with getting mugged, one should epect it on a crowded map. My first expansion was scripted bad, I lost my 2nd expansion party to the Cyclops - which did not have H2 priest to cast Sermon of Courage. The rollback itself hardly affected me.
