A question about themes and starting magic

Do themes change the spell(s) you get at the start of the game? I.E does Niefelheim Jotunheim get Luck and Curse, or do they have diffrent spells to start with?

Different.

Niefelheim begins with Illwinter.

You cannot be serious, Niefelheim starting with a global spell!!!

Not to mention the Niefelheim Giants with killer Cold Aura and piles of Hp!
