No Commodities after Patch 2

This has probably been stated before, but I've not played the game for many months and so have missed it.

Basically I have just reinstalled and applied patch 2, game is now 1.15, and I have noted that although I have a commodities listing, I have no commodities or bounties listed in any Guild I've stopped at, and no-one else seems to be selling anything - commodity or bounty.

Any suggestions?

Are u using any Mod?

If so u should:
- first backup your data
- then reinstall the game from scratch (be sure to delete the game folder completely)
- apply the patch on the game
- apply the mod to the installed patch

If nobody has commodities for sale, then you'll need to restart the campaign.

The commodities are set at the very beginning and don't change after that.

No, no mods and I am at the beginning of the Campaign.

I have fixed it by doing a clean install to a new directory. However, I have now got the problem that the Event of meeting Terrain Contact after doing the 3 pirate jobs won't fire and thus I can not proceed any further with the campaign. Anyone know the EventID so I can manually fire it from the console?

Its Vendrin Junction III, not starbase terra. IIRC.

Sounds like you might have to reinstall & repatch. That's wierd.
