Default bad packet or Nagot ach Fell(?)

I'm trying to load the map file for Evermore from the server onto this laptop. I keep getting this "bad packet" error and Dom3 shuts down. I have to leave town for a few days and don't want to get AI'd from the host for missing my turns. I may have web access where I'm going so I want to be ready to take my turns.

I successfully loaded Dawn of War on the laptop but Evermore is a bigger game. I don't know if map size is the culprit.

Is there a way to put this save game on a new computer?

Why don't you just download the map from here?

http://67.66.187.69/dominions3/evermoremap.zip

It's on the first post in the thread for Evermore.
