Default Editing scenarios in a campaign?

Is there any way to edit the individual Scenarios in a campaign that I've downloaded? There are some deployment problems in "Betraying the Bear" that I'd like to fix, and I've ran into occasional errors in other campaigns.

I have the free version, not the CD.

If you have the CD edition then campaignhack allows scenario extraction.

Kurt, if you're still around and have specifics feel free to pass that information along. I should still have a copy of my original files and would be willing to do some tweaking but I would need some specifics.

If you have the free version, it's possible to copy the campaign scenarios (the .dat files) into the scenario map and then rename them to match the other scenario files, so that for instance C000S001.dat becomes spscn450.dat, or whatever you prefer. After that, you can edit them with the Scenario Editor. When you're done, simply reverse the process.

I've never experienced any trouble because of doing this, and don't believe it to be against any user agreements.
