Speaking as a programmer, it would really help if you gave more information on when this happens, what you've just done, what the game just did, etc.

It _sounds_ almost like the game didn't recognize a mouseclick's location, but there are at least half a dozen other scenarios / causes I can think of off hand just given that message.
