Default Mine clearing message font color

Sometimes mine clearing messages are being displayed in a dark gray font color that makes them almost unreadable.

Does anybody else experience this?

A save game is attached (though it seems to happen in all games).

Yes.

It's hard to reproduce because it is so intermittent.

If nobody else reports it, I'll just assume it's my system. It's not a big deal since I can see on the map if the mines are cleared or not.

I have not seen this problem... :/ Do you by any change have a flat LCD monitor? If so LCD monitors only have one display resolution and running your operating system or a game in a different resolution causes the graphics to be distorted. This causes the contrast to go bad and sometimes fade text fields, etc. One of the reasons I will be using my good old CRT monitor until it breaks down.

I haven't been able to reproduce it after a reboot, so I'll just put it down to one of those 'computer things'.

Hi all.
It's not just you, Stirling.
I've also had the same problem. It also happens with air strikes once they've unloaded, and as Stirling said, it's so intermittent that it's hard to save and/or reproduce.
I have an LCD monitor, but it also used to happen with my CRT monitor (old system too; now a completely new PC and same problem).
Any ideas?

Nope, none. I've never seen this happen and nether has Andy and if we can't see it or reproduce it we have no idea what causes it so cannot "fix" it. For all we know it's another program you are running that is interferring with the game... maybe ? Maybe not ? IDK. "Stirling" reported he hasn't been able to reproduce it after a reboot. That tells me something was running that the reboot cleared but it doesn't tell me if he's never seen it again since that report or if it comes back after playing awhile. With yours just what exactly does " It also happens with air strikes once they've unloaded " mean ?? That ALL messages appear dark or just the mine clearing messages ?

It hasn't happened again.

I failed to mention that during the very same turn, the font would be dark for certain mine clearing units (not any particular one) and normal for others.

I'm convinced the problem (too strong a term?) is just a glitch related to my setup. Doesn't seem worth spending valuable time on.
