Default Modding Questions

So if you wanted to make a creature that wound down in the same fashion as Clockwork Horrors, how would you do that?

There doesn't seem to be a "wind down" ability to give out, would giving a creature an Encumberance of 10 and a Reinvigoration of -5 do the trick well enough?

I want to make sure that the creature doesn't just take oodles of damage from passing out, but I also want them to wind down in the fast way that Clockwork Horrors do. Any help would be very helpful.

Also, is there any way to give an Ivy King-like ability to summon extra <fill in blank> when casting an appropriate spell? I'd really like to be able to have specialists in spells other than Vine Man.

I quess adding negative reinvigoration would do the trick. I don't know if you need high base-enc. on the top of that.

I don't think there is any way to add that extra-summon ability.

Damn. I was afraid of that.

The problem I run into is that the free reinvigoration you get from being at Fatigue 100+ is only 5, and when you hit 200, you take damage. So if you set negative reinvigoration up as high as a Clockwork Horror loses fatigue, you'll not only stop in 7 rounds (like a CWH), but also start taking damage in 14. Lots of damage as it so happens, so the paralyzed little beasties are going to die in any long encounter whether they get attacked or not (which is completely not the point).

BTW, do you know how to get an effect to go off when a creature dies?

There is a #secondshape (or something) command. So... you could, for example, have a unit turn into a custom monster on death, that has 1 hp, 0 for all stats except attack, 200 encumbrance and -10 reinvigoration, and an AOE 9 fire attack. And the unit icon could look like an explosion. How's that?

Edit: Also, combat only lasts 50 turns (or was it 40?). Either way, you can set reinvigoration up to -7 without risk.

It wouldn't actually use its explosion if it was in the back ranks (which means that it wouldn't especially come and bite you in the *** ever). But I might settle for that, thanks.
