New patch soon
Posted at Malfador's website:
"Due to the flu, the patches didn't quite make it out for Christmas. But the good news is that the Starfury patch should be out by next week, and the SE4 Gold patch is scheduled for the beginning of February. Here's to a great 2004."
Looks like the patch will be out within the next week!

Saw the thing on the homepage about there being a new patch. Read the message, and it provided a link. But the patch that's there looks like it's the old patch. Where's the new patch that's supposed to go to v1.15? Am I missing something?

The patch on Malfador's homepage is in fact patch 2..
EDIT looks like Shrapnel hasn't updated their patch page yet though. Go to www.malfador.com.

Whew. It seems the invulnerability for bases does allow for multiple ways to enable killing them.
Now to see if some of the broken events from before work..the only one I saw listed was one that worked for me.

Thanks for letting us know about the new patch for SE IV Gold. I am hoping the new Star Fury patch will resolve a few minor issues. I am an addict of both games, I no longer play any other games much at all. I used to be a civ fan, and recently Galactic Civilizations. Civ3 was a let down, and Galciv is cool but lacks the excellent features that the SE Series provides.
