Default (OT) Computer question
I have DDR ram installed in my system, I do not know the speed of it, IF I were to buy a faster speed mem mod will it automaticly step down to the slower speed, or will it give me a headake?

IIRC, you can mix speeds and the memory will run at the lowest speed. Keep in mind that your motherboard needs to support both speeds.

MB Booklet said DDR200/DDR266 so I should realy look to fine the 266 right?

Yes. 266 is best for you.
