				 Russian / Ukrainian Camo
What are the cammo schemes used the last 15 years for Russian and Ukrainian AFVs and when did they begin to appear? The green/sand/black scheme seems to be standard in Russia but there is a lot of pictures with a light-gray/green/black scheme.

Apparently the grey-green-black is the latest Russian scheme, but it also seems to be in service in Ukraine for some time now.I've also seen some sand-greenish brown-black in Ukraine, but that may be nonstandard or abandoned.

Not easy to sort things out.Lots of the pics of the latest tanks and IFVs comes from expos and are painted with special flashy camos or export ones for the occasion. To add to the confusion, there are also parading units which may also have a non standard paint.

Anyway, Plasma's answer has already made some things clearer to me.

To stay on the subject, I 've almost finished a green 2S6 icon. What camoed version should I make?

This is a very nice Icon. Can I include it with the patch? I will create the alternate camo schemes.

 Like so ( attached )
Usually I create five or six basic solid monotone Icons then use the freehand tool to slice them up and paste them together to create the two and three colour schemes. Mose times I end up with three times more than I need but that alows me to pick the best ones. When using the "slice and dice" technique there are always a few that don't quite cut it but it's 10 seconds of work to change it back

 EDITED--- additional schemes included

				 Re: Russian / Ukrainian Camo
I was not soliciting Icons. I was asking one person if I could use one Icon and if he desen't answer it won't get used. I have time to change one Icon and make the adjustments to the OOB's that use it. I *will* look at these but I'm not making any promises that they will be included.
