Unit 807 uses weapon 229 ( 203mm 2A44 CM) which is set up for cluster munitions and has a range rated as 220
Unit 914 uses weapon 118 ( 203mm 2A44 FG ) which is NOT set up for cluster munitions and has a range rated as 238
The plus version has CM ammo because the plus usually indicates CM with arty units ( it can also mean extra ammo but it's there to alert players that unit is different from others named he same )
So if you want CM with this gun you pay a range penalty because there is only one range we can give a weapon like this so the plus version ( unit 807 ) does not have the extended range but 914 does
