Is there much demand? - Slow-paced, mid skill level game
So since I began playing Multi-player dominion, my live has changed to become significantly higher demanding, which in turn means less free time for DomIII. I am still interested in starting a new multiplayer within the next month, but the fast pace of most games renders them impractical. also I have played enough that I can no longer really call myself a Newb, but am certainly not a vet.
Is anyone else in the same boat? I'm just trying to test the water with this post.

 Specifically:

one turn/3 days for the first year, on turn/week for the next few years, then moving towards 10 days or 2 weeks in the later game.

also I've been involved in 4-5 games, 2 fully late games, and may be on track to get my name on the victory list for one of those.

 what do people reckon?

I'm pretty much in the same situation myself, and I would play in such a game.
Preferably reasonably poor in gems and with around 5-7 players and a 60-100 province map.

Re: Is there much demand? - Slow-paced, mid skill level game
Ive had some games on the Dom3Minions server that were geared for slow going and long learning.
They tended to really huge maps (even maximum) and tended to play more like a comfortable MMORPG than any effort for one person to come out the winner. Particularly if the map was boosted with surprises, and the opponents list filled in with boosted AIs. I had one such game run for more than a real-world year with some people dropping out and others stepping in. (on Dom3Minions the option for players to go AI can be locked)

Just mentioning an alternative game type.

Hmmm, so at least 3 of us...
Could be worse I guess. I will pop up a game in a week or so when I finish this one piece of work that's hanging over my head |
