Message problems in PBW game

I'm playing PBW game and I just encountered a strange event. When I started my turn there is two Messages from the same empire. First of the Messages was without any doubt written by my ally, but the second one was sent in the same turn I received it and it was the war declaration! So how I was able to receive a message sent at current turn when it's not even processed?

I have not got enough experience to say for sure, but is there a possibility that this is part of an intelligence attack?

Somebody tried to fake a transmission from that empire, while they were already talking to you. LOL

So, what you need to do is restart whatever treaty you had before and explain the situation.
Then build more intelligence facilities (research applied intel if nessesary), and put all your points into defense projects.

The message was from my empire, and yes, we have been compromised by a intel attack. My counterintelligence storage was insufficient to stop the attack.

Thanks. Of course I should have thought intelligence attack but I'm a new player, only one game over 100 turns up till now (and that game is this game where Greybeard are playing too )
