Re: Intel ops in v1.49+TDM-ModPack

Actually 6 Crew Insurrections should come out to 300k worth of intel expenditure, each project being worth 50k. The Rage may only show production of 30k, but what of their allies? Do they have any...

Re: Getting Burned Out

I know what you mean, though I am far from that point with SE IV right now. No matter how good the game, there comes a time when you have to move on, in fact I tend to take breaks fairly often -...

Re: Observations on TDM-Mod

I have been hearing that there is some problem in using the TDM Modpack as it currently is, even including the interim update. I have looked around for the thread discussing this, but cannot recall...

Re: Counter Intelligence Again

Thanks, everybody. In response to some of your observations, without being specific, yes it is possible to manipulate the system the way it is currently designed, but I still largely prefer it to...

Re: Ring and Sphere worlds

These answers are correct. In the interest of not starting new threads when we have so amply dealt with such topics already, it might be a good idea in the future to simply search this forum for...

Counter Intelligence Again

Has anyone else noticed that it seems the mechanics of Counter Intelligence has changed? I, for one, would love Richard to post MM's official, newly official, explanation on how it works precisely. ...

Hello All

Happy days are here again... I have spent the Last two hours playing with Version 1.49 and I must say that everything is sweet.... no problems yet encountered with games saved under...

Re: Stellar Manipulation Suggestion for 1.42

This is fantastic news. I have to admit that I had been giving the game a rest for awhile; until the patch came out (I got back into Age of Wonders - another fabulous turn-based strat game -...

Re: Discussion On How To Improve Politics

I could be totally wrong on this, but my understanding was that the tone you take in your communication with an AI empire was completely irrelevant to how that message was evaluated by the AI. I...

Re: Dicsussion About Trade

I would think that such a complex addition to the current interface would have to wait for the expansion at least, as it seems beyond the scope of a patch. Greater detail in trade and in diplomacy...

Re: An Idea, Please Read and comment

I think that is a great idea. The depth of this game has been doubled after all by the fans themselves and such an open, cooperative relationship between developer and fan base should be encouraged....

Stellar Manipulation Suggestion for 1.42

Hello All

The whole point of having systems connected via warp points, rather than just open space, is that it makes the game more interesting from a strategic point of view. Warp Points create...

Re: Any feedback on Romulan or Klingon AI\'s?

Actually, there is something I noticed, perhaps this is simply a stylistic preference on your part, but both the Klingons and the Romulans do not seem to spend enough on tech after a certain point,...
