The CM was born to do two things: lead a communion, and cast Power of the Spheres. Both require astral magic (which he has) and boost all paths at once (which benefits him a lot).

Demiliches, wraith lords and mound fiends can be banished and take extra damage from herald lances, holy pyre, etc. Golems or firbolgs or whatever with wraith swords can't and don't. You can...
