				 Behemoth?
Are Behemoths (D3 summons, 10 death gems, undead mammoth) worth it? It seems like a lot of money to pay for a trampler with low Prot--does anyone buy them, and if so why and under what circumstances? Maybe it makes a good chassis for Iron Warriors/Luck/Body Ethereal if you're going indy-hunting? But it seems kind of unlikely that you'd have Behemoths researched before you run out of indies.

				 Re: Behemoth?
Unfortunately Behemoth is one of the overpriced death summons... the same as the Ziz death summon.
It's too bad they're overpriced because they're never seen in MP games and for SP games it's a poor use of gems for the AI opponents who cast the spells.

				 Re: Behemoth?
Agree, totally with what NT Jedi, those are 2 examples of summons that could do with there gem cost lowering or preferably more effects for higher gem cost. 3 Behemoths for 20D gems might lure more people into casting it. |

				 Re: Behemoth?
Don't compare behemoth with ziz. Ziz might just be the worst summon in the entire game. Behemoth is currently overpriced but it isn't a /total/ waste of gems.
CBM makes drastic changes to both of them.

No one was comparing them, we were just listing them as being overpriced.

Actually, one of my friends makes good use of it when he plays C'Tis. Behemoths + body ethereal are quite hard to stop. |

I think that 5 for 20 gems would be the way to balance it

Whoa, five for 20 seems like a steal to me. Maybe at Ench-8.

				 Re: Behemoth?
Meh, the thing about behemoths is yeah you can buff them with body ethereal or iron warriors...but then again you can do the same thing with any random elephants you find and they're pretty much as good (by the time moral factors in with elephants, there's a good chance you're gonna lose anyway). 10 death gems are generally worth waaaay more than 100 gold.

				 Re: Behemoth?
Ziz are a total waste, but i don't agree about Behemoths. For 60 gems you can get a force that changes the tactical equation at a relatively low research level. On the other hand, i'd defiantly use them more often if they cost 8. |
