Ok, a noob question. I've never reached the point where I can cast Wish before but in a long-running MP game I'm working on getting a mage who can cast it. When I finally get to the point where I can cast it how does it work? Let's say I want to wish for artifact Greenstone Armor (not that I would, seems pretty crummy for a wish btw ). Does a text box come up and I type in "Artifact Greenstone Armor"? Or if i want a doom horror does a text box come up and I type in "Doom Horror"?
Thanks,
John

Yes, a text box comes up and you type in what you want. "Doom Horror" is correct, but for the Greenstone Armor, you'd just type "greenstone armor". Same for "power", "magic power", "blood slaves", etc. Don't type the quotes themselves, and make sure the spelling is correct.

Lintman is right, but don't worry too much. If you input something it doesn't recognize it just says "I can't give you that" and pops the text input box up again. You can't waste your Wish thanks to a stray typo. Well, unless you do "blood slave" instead of "blood slaves"...

Re: Wish spell...
As long as we're discussing overpowered sandbox magic, any idea what kind of forge bonus a Nataraja would get with a Hammer of the Forge Lord in two hands, a Hammer of the Cyclops in two more, and Forge of the Ancients in effect? On a 20 forge bonus site, for good measure?
Just idle munchkiny curiosity.

Re: Wish spell...
a 20 firegem item, for instance, would cost
20*.5 =10
10*.5 =5
5*.5 =2
2*.8 =1
pretty sweet. though i've never used the two hammers in conjunction, so i can't swear they stack.
a 5 nature 5 air gem rainbow armor should be free.

Re: Wish spell...
I've tested this. In the current Version when you wish for a Hammer of the Cyclops, your Hammer of the Forge Lord goes "Poof!" in a puff of smoke. So you can't do the trick with Nataraja holding both. With a Ulm smith (25% bonus) [or Nataraja plus a Dwarven Hammer (25%)] holding one of the 50% bonus hammers , you can get things down to 18.75% of costs with the Forge of Ancients up.

Re: Wish spell...
For whaty I know the bonuses sums themselves ...
So on a Forge Lord Hammer on a Const 20 Site = 70% reduction.
About the Forge of the Ancients, really dunno if halves and later you apply the 70%, or you get 50% + 70% = 100% bonus and you forge for free (well the Forge Lord Hammer is sufficient to forge for free in that case).
