What does the spell illwinter do?

Heh? Illwinter makes the world colder, Second Sun makes the world hotter. So you're saying that the cold generation of Illwinter beats the heat generation of Second Sun? I considered casting a Second Sun to counter an Illwinter in an MP game once.

Illwinter also causes unrest worldwide. Not sure about the second sun.

Well, I think their *effects* cancel each other's effects. In some time. But still, some provinces will get colder and some hotter, and after a few turns they will be affected by your dominion/other global and be back at the value they started from. I though Archaelopt asked about them destroying each other...
