Re: Demo wishes
I agree the Doms 3. demo should have at least a 60 turns limit.

Re: Demo wishes
I did alot better at recommending Dom1 with the demo that allowed for full multiplayer games, but capped on research and units. Im hoping that the Dom2 demo was a test. Maybe it wasnt any more helpful than the Dom1 demo was, and we can go back to that

Re: Demo wishes
For what it is worth, getting hooked on the Dom1 demo is what got me to buy Dom2.

Re: Demo wishes
Double the turn limit from the Dom2 demo, that should be good enough to finish a mid sized map game, and if research and some units are off limits, it'll be incentive to people to buy the game.

Re: Demo wishes
I would like 60 turns minimum. I have personally never topped ~70 - 80 turns on the Dom:PPP demo. And, for what its worth, I had almost forgotten Dom II until I found the Dom I demo, and done multiplayer w/ my friend.

Re: Demo wishes
Well it would be nice if it was enough to be able to actually play a game. But in fairness it cant be enough to happily live with the demo and not buy the game.
I like the cap on the Dominions 1 demo. No turn limits but each nation lost 2 of its best units, and there was a cap of research to lvl 6? (I think I remember that right) But otherwise you could finish a full game with multiple players.
They could also limit the demo to only playing certain races. Such as Ulm and Arcosphales in each era.
