It's not Vans and it's not C'tissians. 300 Van Hirdmen (sword and shield, see?) vs 1 million Mechanical Men would be a better comparison. The archers aren't shown, but they're probably just massed indies.

Well, they aren't well armored, they are infantry, but they certainly seem to be sacred with some dang good bonuses. EFW9 is my guess. Maybe some others as well.

It got me jazzed.... Sorry my buildup disappointed you guys. The graphic novel was great, and the movie looks really cool to me.
I have to admit I am a sucker for lost causes, last stands, heroic idiocy. David Gemmel's books hook me in just like this did (Legend, Druss The Axe, etc.).
