Looks like I'm back again...

Ok, despite having just purchases Hearts of Iron (too many issues, waiting for patch 1.03), and combat mission BB (fun but I need more) and having STILL not finished Morrowing and for some reason having just gotten it's expansion pack Tribunal, I'M BACK! Yep, SEIV has sunken it's teeth into my brain.

So, a few questions to catch me up....

First, in the Last 3 months, what is the status of the various mods? What's the latest Version of proportions? Or Devnullmod? Is the Babylon 5 mod ready for Gold yet? TNG mod? Star Trek mod for Gold? And any others I've missed?

Second, how much room does SEIV gold take up fully installed? I'm short on hard drive space and I need to figure out what to get rid of. I never would have imagined a few years back that 8Gigs wouldn't Last....

Third, Patch? It doesn't appear that there has been anything since 1.78? Or has there? Anything immenent(sp?) I should hold out for?

Fourth, those were the biggies as far as mods go way back when, but what's new? Any good sound mods? Graphics mods (like new quadrants or star images)?

Well it depends on what you put in the folder, how many mods/shipsets etc

as to next patch more likly me next month before it is releasted

Proportions is at 2.5.2 - there's a link to it from my webpage.

Devnullmod is at 1.70 - Rollo links to it in his sig.

As for space on HD... look up the "How big is yours" thread. That will give you an idea.

..I have no 'mods' installed, just the 'full install' of SE:IV Gold and it takes up 225 meg of HD Space. Does this help?

Combat Mission BB? What is that? I am currently playing Beyond Overlord is there another Version out?

My install takes 359.6Mb, and I have an 8Gb drive too, but I just keep adding drives so I also have two 30Gb and a 40Gb as well. This is how it breaks down:

TDM3.2: 53Mb
TechView: 4Mb

I would guess I have some junk files as well (zip files for the above etc).

For information on the Star Trek: TNG mod, check the website. I usually keep it up to date. At the moment, I'm working on the beta which I hope will be ready in the next couple of weeks.

My v1.78 install is 382M, and I think I have a below average number of mods and shipsets installed.

Patch? It doesn't appear that there has been anything since 1.78?

Beta is known to be up to v1.82. I expect Gold Patch 3 will be released "soon", and plan to do a new Version of my Hypermaze mod (quadrants with hyperspace systems) after it comes out. (I've already started testing the non-Gold Version of Hypermaze.)
