1.49 mods
where are all the 1.49 mods out there!!!!! what are the best 1.49 mods out there and where can i get them? Help the people too poor to buy gold with new 1.49 mods!

is it possiable to mod drones into 1.49? it would also be cool if someone could make a 1.49 mod that added all the features of gold to 1.49. I would do it if i knew how.

The changes in Gold are hard-code changes. They can not be modded into 1.49 (including Drones).

Drones can be added as a regular ship in v1.49 mods but that is about it. Some special adjustments to the tech tree and abilities for ship sizes can duplicate a drone in 1.49.

No such animal; save up for it.
Look, I understand poverty -- I am, essentially, on welfare, and only have the use of a computer because my GIRLFRIEND has one, and lets me use it.
My budget is set down to the penny, and I have as much a month in "pocket money" as (I suspect) most other adult computer-gamers have per week. I shop the ultra-bargain-racks for game, and ... I save my pennies.
It took me some 4 months of desperate want, and saving, before I could afford SE4/Gold.
It has already proven worth it, and I've only had it since early October.
Save your money -- a dollar here, two dollars there -- and get Gold. It's worth every penny, and then some!

There's also a SE IV "Classic" mods (Pre-Gold) {link} thread in the current Scenario/Mod Archives; you usually have to "Show All Topics" to see it. ATM it only has TDM-ModPack 2.0 and my HypermazeLite v1.2.
I'm currently testing the "classic" Version of my next update for Hypermaze. If I finish testing before Gold Patch 3 comes out, I may "pre-release" the classic Version.
