Re: Anyone seen some alien heads?
I could not find where this file was uploaded (not that I looked very hard), so I reuploaded it:
1044834387.zip
I did not upload this in the first place, and I have no idea who did. It is not my work. Is it what you were talking about?

Re: Anyone seen some alien heads?
Actually, no it wasn't. But I must say that the pics are Sweet!
Love those Giger pics. I have another of his replacing the Godzilla pic for space monsters.
Anyone see anything else like this?

Re: Anyone seen some alien heads?
I found this thread from Jan 2001.

There are links to Tripod so you will get popups.
I could not find neutral files specfied.
I seem to recall Atrocites did a several neutral races based on Star Trek.

Re: Anyone seen some alien heads?
I'm working on a new race that is genrally plant-like (asparagus, broccoli, etc.). I have tried to make my own Version with Moray, but it I'm not entirely satisfied with it. Has anyone seen any images on the web that might work?

Re: Anyone seen some alien heads?
Chronon: Like I say, if you give me a specification I'll do a custom-drawn race portrait for you.

Re: Anyone seen some alien heads?
Thanks Dogscoff!
The beings in question - the Verdurans - come from a rock homeworld with a carbon dioxide atmosphere. Have you ever read David Brin's Uplift series? I was thinking something like the Kanten. They are like a small tree or shrubbery with dark green leaves (with silver tips). They have no eyes, and they walk on root-like appendages. Aside from that basic description, feel free to be creative.
If it helps, here's a picture of their Battlecruiser:
