Hmm, well it does work usually, but it does have some quirks.

Sorry if I am being redundant, but I just want to make sure. You have unzipped the .gam file into the root savegame folder, correct?

And what exactly is the error message you are getting?

I'm not going to bother looking up patch 1.91, but didn't they fix that so it could be played from any PC?

It works.....sort of. First off I have a very bad short term memory, so I forget what I did 5 seconds ago. I can remember what I did but not the order. I think I unzipped the files into not the se4 savegame folder, but the mods savegame folder. Anyway I checked temp and there was a Last turn log and current turn log. I went into the game and started the movement log and amidst various Ai settings errors and the game saying the data was incorrect all the ships moved about. Although I don't know what i did to get it to work, at least I can see it works, and if you know something works its much easier to work out how.

yeah, i'll be watching tv and go to do something, or reading a book and move to another section and suddenly I'm like "What was I going to do?". It happens at least a few times a day and I have to think about what I was doing and what I could possibly have decided to do. I am not 80, I'm not even 40. Also my typing ability has gone downhill, I used to be able to type really well, now I look at my typing and its full of the wrong letters, even words, or I put the beginning of a word at the end of the previous word. Perhaps I should see a doctor, perhaps I'm getting some disorder. On a lighter note I came back to this thread because after working out what I had to do to get replays I tried it on a stock game. I was surprised that suddenly I was seeing ship movement in enemy territory as well as empires on the other side of the map I have never met. Does anyone know of this bug.

No such bug that I know of.

Do you have the "omnipresent view of all system" selected, or a partner (or a partner with a partner) with presence in the system ?
