Re: Othaglot & Cane: A quick poll.
No option for me:
"I've heard of it and will read it later, not so into detective stories but as it is SE IV and Sci Fi I will still read it as soon as I get time.
So keep on writing. Don't you dare stop!"
If there was such an option I would choose that.

Re: Othaglot & Cane: A quick poll.
Thanks Ruatha. I'll note you down as an "I started reading it but couldn't keep up." - it's not quite the same but it's closest.
Some one has selected the "what are the courier stories?" box. I'll answer that question now:
The courier stories are a series (well, two so far) of light-hearted, one-off short stories designed to accompany the O&C narrative. They have no bearing on the plot whatsoever, but they are set in the same universe and so help to flesh out the locations and culture that O&C live in.
They're on my webpage too. Click the banner.

I am, but as soon as I start thinking of myself as "creative" in any way I suddenly become prone to hysterical fits of drama-queen style self-recrimination and morose navel-staring. As a result I sometimes I need copious and utterly unjustified lavishings of praise and reassurance, hence this thread=-)

Re: Othaglot & Cane: A quick poll.
Big dawg:
The Othaglot and Cane and the Courier stories have destroyed all my hopes and aspirations of becoming a SEIV fan-fiction writer. Hell would freeze over before I could top what you are writing. Keep up the good work
