Re: My Favourite Shipset Designers
RD, perhaps you should edit your original post and change,..
"My Top 8 Shipset Designers" to...
"My Top 8 Shipset Designers: In no particular order!"
...just trying to help avoid any unwarranted tension!
Cheers!
Edit: P.S. or change the numbering system to letters... a, b, c,..!

Re: My Favourite Shipset Designers
Thanks Trooper and thanks Atrocities.
Sounds like we should make a poll out of this thread.
In my rating John Beech is in 1st place closely followed by Hadrian Aventine in 2nd place. I agree with Trooper that it's a shame they're not working in SE4 any more.
Others are difficult to order (I'm including myself among them).
I will not make names because I'm sure I'll miss many great artists. I currently have more than 200 installed shipsets.
There are some that have made only one shipset but a very cool one, and others that have made an impressive number of them, and others that achieved a good balance in between.
There are also many variations in technics, from 2D drawings from scratch to many different 3d programs.
Some shipsets made in doga look poor and too similar others look great, the same could probably be said about other programs but I guess that doga's pre-made pieces tend to produce more repetitions.
