Given your prolific shipset career and having read your comments on the Son'a thread, I can see why you are retiring, although we will miss your input.Quote:

Please tell us though that you're not giving up on se4 altogether- you'll still play the game and hang around the forums. At the very least, please tell us you'll be continuing your story

*dogscoff breaks into a cold sweat at the thought of not finding out what happens.

Oh, as a FYI, I counted up the shipsets listed on Trooper's list today. I think it's safe to say that that list represents pretty much every single set ever released for this game so far, with perhaps a few little known sets not listed.

The total I came to was something like 260 sets, counting your new set and other new discoveries today.

That means your 30 shipsets represent more than 10% of all shipsets ever released for se4.

No, the races in the AST Mod have modified files. In order to use a race with the ast mod one must alter the Race AI.Quote:

		| Another question I'm wondering about : Are all your ST races optimized for the AST mod or for stock game ? |
Guys, I am not giving up on SEIV. I am simply not going to put any more time into ship set development as it is pointless at this point given the fact that SEV will be using a 3d engine.

I want to start learning other 3d programs that will allow me to produce ship sets for SE V.

And thanks for all of the kind comments.

And Trooper, I have no life.

Well Atrocities: SEIV's loss and SEV's gain IMHO. As I have said before; me not much of a Trekkie BUT I DO appreciate the effort and the quality you put into your sets.

"I want to start learning other 3d programs that will allow me to produce ship sets for SE V."
You can do both at the same time. DOGA and Bryce aren't suitable for real-time 3d rendering (too many polys) but any other 3d program could also be used to make SE4 ships- you just render bitmaps instead of exporting to a .x file..

Atrocities, has this set been added to the PBW database yet? There is a game starting soon and I was going to use this set, but I don't see it on there. I didn't want to put it on there myself without your permission so I thought I'd ask first. The game won't start for a couple days I'm sure so it's no big rush.

Vaadwaur? wow, you have to retire now there's no races left that need ships.....(downloading them as we speak)
Who is left shipless in the ST universe, perhaps soon I can try to do something....?
