I don't pronounce it. I think of it as a "Graphic". I see it and image who it is just like I would an avatar.

I sort of am the same way. When I cruise the forum I use the corner of my eye to catch the Avatar and then in my mind I place the name with the Avatar, making it possible to read through threads quicker then usual. But I still say the name in my sub-conscience.

mlmbd passed away June 2.
The world is not as bright without him.
He was a good friend and I will miss him.
