And she never got lost somewhere? Cool. I'm watching reruns of "Airport" on TV and it's amazing that luggage arrives at the correct place if you see what happens sometimes.

Yeah, these days, you can take pets inside but in THOSE days, you had to let pets travel in cargo. "Rat" (Rattan) was the greatest cat we ever owned (or that owned us). Even though Siamese cats have reputations as being a bit ornery, Rat was like a dog...if you sat down, he was on your lap...if you layed down, he was on your chest.
I got him as a gift for my wife in Augsburg, Germany, but it seemed he took a real liking to me.
(OK, enough about a cat... )

24 yrs of life
several times when too young to remember then from US North Carolina somewere to Madrid Spain
Spain to El Paso Tx US.
El Paso to Los Angeles back to El Paso to San Diego to El Paso to San Francisco to El Paso to San Antonio to El Paso and that is the current location (I like it here).

1 Inter-continental Move
3 in Calgary
Moved from the West to the East
and once in Montreal.
All in all, 14 times.

I'm really amazed but the distance some people travel here. wow. makes my 31 odd miles seem like a candy trip

Distance doesn't mean anything these days.
A flight from Australia to the US is only 8-12 hours, which just happens to be the same amount of time that it takes to drive from Melbourne to Sydney, a distance of only 1000KM (600 miles???).
