For travel, but not for moving the household ! You can rent a truck, load your stuff, drive to Sydney and unpack, all in 2-3 days and a cost of ~ $100. Now, move to US for example [Smile]

My family has done the big move, from London to Melbourne, Via LA airport. I was surprised they allowed us on the plane with the amount of Coats, Bags & electrical goods (2 laptops, 2 Walkmans, 2 mobiles, Portable Sterio) that we were carrying.

Of course it helped having an International Pilot as a friend, who was bringing us bags for months...
