Maybe the new 1.27 AI is so much better than 1.19 that they just got wiped out?

hehe, I lost one in 10 turns once....darn AI came in with a frigate at turn 8...wiped out HW, then spun and wiped out the 1 colony i had...

I changed my tactics slightly after that!

Well, I looked a bit more carefully and found that the General.txt file for the Darloks has "Gas" for planet type instead of "Gas Giant".

Which probably explains why the game tried to start them on a warp point before I noticed it.
