Are you up for a challenge? Religious empire with angry neighbours needs new dictator

Hmm I would be interested, as a *Coughs* newbie. I'm not sure what empire I would prefer though. On the one hand, I enjoy religious, but on the other hand, the other Empire is not at war at least. I will tell you if you accept me in this game.

I don't think I know any player in the game, except maybe from a couple of Posts on these forums.

Lastly, silly question, but on what turn is the game?

Keen for the organic race. Like the idea of 19/20 and working my way up (or getting slaughtered! )

The game is at turn 55 (2405.5) but the zipfiles are named turn 60, but that's not true, we restared intially due to some problems with some starting worlds.

Religious seems fun but I've stayed away from it as it seems the neighbours get's upset by religious fanatcis and tend to start war with you.
The reason the religious player has quit is that he don't have enough time( I think), I don't think there is any actual warfare going on, only sword ramblings. I'm at war with the religious one but I don't have a ship within a long range of them (yet....)

Joachim has choosen the organic race and been accepted, hurry up Alneyan before someone snatches the religious one, or you can wait and see if the other two empires becomes free. Either way it's up to you but you are welcome into the game.

The most important rule is no partnerships larger than 2 players, military alliances allowed freely.
And trading com channels and star charts is discouraged to encourage exploration, but it's not explicitly forbidden

I didn't believe the religious side was actually attacked by two or three other empires, otherwise you wouldn't search for a replacement for that empire, would you? I tend to like the Religious though, these shrines...

Incidentally, are the talismans allowed in the game? (I know they are sometimes regarded as a problem, and they have the nasty habit to attract some enemies. )

Hmm, I will take the religious Empire. They are still a bit under the average, and hopefully these wars won't be too... annoying. Hopefully.

I was thinking wheather to look for a replacement for the religious or not.
But the player quitting that empire actually prepared to quit, tried to sort out his affairs before he quit.
But I for one act aggressively against religious races...
I don't know if there is any actual warfare going on but the player quitting didn't say anything about that.
I've started war against that empire as I;
-Don't like talisman equipped ships, kill em before they get em!!!
-They're at war with one of my military allies.

I have some scout ships in the vicinity of the religious empire but not inside their territory.

And yes, talismans is allowed!

I have just applied, I was having trouble with the graphic interface of PBW. (Don't ask) I wonder why you don't like ships equiped with a talisman. *Smirks* I don't know if I should be delighted to know the talismans are allowed or not heh.

I guess we will see if this Empire is endagered or not in a few turns, at least if I am slaughtered I could say it was the fault of the previous player.
