Re: Congrats with new look forum
Thanks David. Seems like we got into this discussion several months back when I tried it and gave up. As I recall, there was ghosting on the edges because of anti-aliasing...then if I got rid of all of the "bad" edging, it looked a bit jagged (as seen in the one you did for me).
So, I had a choice of which I'd rather live with. I decided looking the way I wanted it to 50% of the time (and not being too bad the remaining part of the time) was better than looking at "jaggies" all the time. (I think Abraham Lincoln said that ).

Re: Congrats with new look forum
Why live with 50% when 99% is available?

Re: Congrats with new look forum
Well, that's only slightly jaggy. How'd you get it so close to being smooth?
Yes, the slight jagginess now wins the "race". Thanks, David!
PS: Also, looking at the new color scheme, I think my "Trithian Revenge" looks better with it.

No, I didn't. Actually, I was "wrestling" with the profile stuff. When you add an email reference in your profile, it converts it to HTML tag...then, if you edit again, the HTML tag gets "tossed" for some reason. SO, I was having other fun and didn't notice.
Thanks mucho again!

I took a snapshot of the forum page to get a copy of the two alternating colors and then nibbled away the (offending) pixels.
If your logo was created with a background color that is 'between' the to alternating colors I could probably make it look even smoother.
But I did what I could with what I had. I'm glad you like the latest 'Transparent' Version.
Cheers!
EDIT: here is an example of what I mean by a midtone background color..

Actually it had nothing to do with that, it just didn't fit the new design.
