What is the best way to handle patches for PBW games? I mean, first, is it possible to upgrade to a new patch with an in-progress game? If so, I presume it would be a judgment call on the players and host whether they want to upgrade the game, but what might then be some of the pitfalls?

Probably getting it confused with Starfury. But there is a patch in the works right now for SEIV. It will be out in the coming weeks.
