Not good if this bug doesn't get patched. For example in P&N mod it's not very nice to play if you don't know your income.

No, it is just like regular resource generation... only they work independantly from planet/race(?) bonuses and you can place them on components.

I'll have to re-read that part again, then, because that was my understanding. But like so many things about this game, just when I think I got it kinda figured out, something comes out from leftfield and throws me a curveball. Ah, well, what's life without learning some new things.

I ran a test with a component, and got results similar to Fyron, though none of the points were showing up on the Scores screen. In other words:

-minerals, organics, and rads don't show up on any display, but you do get the points.
-Intel shows up on the "Intelligence Points Available" field at the top of the main Intelligence screen
-Research shows up in the "Research Points Available" field at the top of the Research screen.

Here's the component I used:

I think given these limitations, I'd still use the Point Generators for Intel and Research, but I am disinclined to use the regular resource ones (mins, orgs, rads).
