I was looking for ways for you to convert your files to .3ds format so we can help you and I found this program. http://www.myriadviewer.com/
Theres a 15 day trial, I havent used it but it looks like what you need for us to help you.

So that'll allow me to convert my Nendo files over to anim8tor?

Because I have a rather hand drawn looking picture of my Dreadnought and Frigate class ships because I used photoshop to fill in the general colors for which I was hoping to texture them with the nendo painter but I don't think that is possible. If I gave you a screen pic would you be able to texture it or would you need the 3d image for texturing and resizing work?

And i still can't figure out the anim8tor controls so there is no possible way for me to copy my designs into anim8tor

What type of color scheme do you want?
I will work on it some right now and I should be able to get you a rough idea of what I can do for you by this afternoon but a color scheme would be nice so I have some idea of where to start.

Well roughly the same color scheme I showed you the yellowish color was meant to be gold and the blueish color was meant to be shiney.

The hull's general color is grey though.

David was explaining to me that XP has a problem. Evidently XP will not use RAM over 512 megs. If this is accurate, then I am wasting 256 megs, and my system will never use more than 512 megs. This bites!

Never say never, it's a 'known bug' so it should eventually get fixed. And I can only confirm that in XP Home edition this bug is present. When the system sees that more than 512meg is needed, it automatically creats a swap file and uses that. It's like the system says "If Ram_needed > 512 then use_swap_file" it should say "If Ram_needed > available_ram then use_swap_file".

I think the main reason that it has not been fixed yet is that not many apps make good use of extra memory anyway. and the new games are getting around this by stuffing the video card's memory instead of system RAM for alot of their graphics. CHeck out some of the new bleeding edge games, they have system requirements like 512meg AND a 128meg graphics card. There' is a reason for this.
