God I Feel Just Horrible

Im reminded of an old conversation over a game of Battletech. One of our regulars was working on painting (beautiful work, by the way) a batallion of Jade Falcon mechs, and he was about one company (12 mechs) into it. oh wait, clan groupings.. um, one cluster is 5 stars is 25 mechs? hell, i cant remember. he was about 1/3rd done with a total sellection of about 50-70 minis.

thats not the point. Someone made an off the cuff comment about the Falcons being a bunch of punks, senseless butchers, war criminals, and all arround un-nice people.

The Falcon player responded that it was nothing but a bunch of lies and propoganda, and that if you went to the planet of Turtle Bay and asked ANY of the citizens of Edo, not ONE of them would have a SINGLE bad thing to say about their Jade Falcon occupiers.

Of course, the accuser had a ready response to this, but if you know anything about the battletech storyline then you already get the joke.
