Other people have already said it, but I'm going to say it again. That's some truely awesome work. Both the model and the portrait scene. Actually, the model looks really good in the portrait, even at that scale (except for the flames...I don't think she's in such good shape anymore )

 Awesome work as usual David.
The skulls, the ship, the sand – Now tell me; why do I have a feeling I have seen this motif before ? [ July 19, 2004, 07:19: Message edited by: primitive ]

Re: AT, Buddy,.. I\'m sorry to say I crashed one of your ships..
Q1: How many years have I been doing Graphics?
A1: Well, If you mean 'Computer Graphics' then the answer is 25 years. If you mean graphics in general, then the answer is since I was a wee lad and crayons were my medium of choice. If you mean 'Professionally' the answer is about 25 years but not exclusive to computers. Thanks for asking.
Q2: What program(s) did I use to make this?
A2: Bryce 5, with a beautiful ship model that Atrocities made using Doga. The skull objects are part od a 3D model collection I have on CD. The rest is pure Bryce 5. Oh, and a bit of post production in ArtGem and I use PSP 8 to convert the original .bmp to .jpg (it does the best job and I can tweak the quality using the 'optimizer')
Q3: Why does the motif look familliar?
A3: Yeah, I got that same feeling when I made my first render. I think I remember an old sci-fi book that had cover artwork that is similar.

/end of mini Q&A
