Seeking players for international PBEM game

So does this mean that the game could end on turn 26 if there are no battles? Or does it start counting peaceful turns at turn 26, meaning turn 50 is the first turn victory conditions could apply? If we are very evenly spread out and we all prefer to hold off on conflict till our navies are strong, we could conceivably go 26 turns w/o a battle. Unlikely sure, but i'd hate to waste 26 days only to have the game end before it starts. Perhaps we should lengthen the time that peace must exist.

it would mean (b) it won't start counting turns/years related to victory until turn 26. the game cannot end before turn 50, and if we get to that point (let alone turn 25) "war free," i'll be shocked...
