Re: Next Patch?
Regarding bugs I have found a problem in a newly started PBEM game with simultanous turns.
We are ten human players, no computer opponents, and after generating the first turn one of the players noted that his orders had not been executed. He had mailed the the file to the host (me) and I am absolutely certain all order files had been put into the correct folder before I started the turn generation.
Another player found his production changed from a colony ship to a space station.
Has anyone else seen such a thing?

Re: Next Patch?
Dime, I have seen a spacestation I built be replaced with a design and racial pic of another player. But this was in 0.99 demo and the game worked fine after that one problem. The host reported it I think.

Re: Next Patch?
Will the next patcj "only" correct bugs and add some new features or will it also improve AI behaviour ? The latter is IMHO by far the biggest nuisance to SE4 playing fun. Actually , as far as I am concerned, despite already great features, SE4 is quite boring right now with the AIs being complete idiots

Re: Next Patch?
Jowe,
Did you adjust the AI settings in the begining of the game?

Re: Next Patch?
Yes, I did adjust the AIs in the beginning of the game. Maximum difficulty, maximum advantage. Furthermore, I gave everyone 5000 points, but for my own race I used only 2000 of them. Still, the AI is a pushover. It basically does rarely attack you. If it does, it does so in a stupid, inconsequent manner. It never follows up on an initial attack. It does not correspond to obvious threats/provocations (like my fleet moving into its territory, me attacking its allies, me establishing strongholds in its territory).
I hope that the AI will be drastically improved in the next patches. Otherwise, replayability value would quickly descend to zero, and that would be a pity for this otherwise very rich game.
