Alot of our players in the newsgroup came from Stars to Dominions. We told them that if they liked Stars then they would love Dominion, for the same reasons. Its a decent strategy game involving excellent surprising balances.
The only real complaint I had with Stars is that I didnt get in soon enough. By the time I started playing it they had the strategys pretty well locked down for solo, multi-play, 2-race alliances, 3-race alliances, small map, large map, etc etc. That was one of the thrills I had with Dom 1. Getting in early enough to take part in the debates, even toss in a few surprises. Im looking forward to that in Dom2 also.
