Lower end, the super-cheap warriors for Mictlan. Not only can they die, they can also throw useless rocks with their slings! Of course, you throw about a hundred of them with a leveled up sun priest with that one spell . . . and there you go, the reason why I like them.
Higher end, Heliophageses. (Heliophagi?) They just look cool.
I really enjoy a lot of units. My elite Cave Drake who leads an elite team around on his flying carpet is a favorite. So is Henrik the indie priest who won the deathmatch tournament, and is now a middleweight melee supercombattant in full black steel plate. Arco priestesses are great to have, especially if you aren't Arco! Succubi are great when they're on your side. Mictlipoctli, before I accidentally burned him to cinders with my demonic heat aura... ooops. Dragons. Blood summons (the one with four arms). Way too many different kinds of units to have a single favorite. Many are beloved though.
Ermor Hero--The rider one.
T'C Demonly River, beeerseeerkeeeeer!(enjoy it with a N9/10 Pretender)
dispossessed spirits.
Nifjotun giant..

Abysia gets a flying demonbred assassin as a national hero. In one game (trying out the soul contract strategy so lots of construction research) I have him a tartarian chains, boots of quickness and an armor of virtue.
He would make an assassination attempt on enemy commanders, enslave them with the chains, or if that failed, instantly teleport home when he took damage or attacked something bigger than expected 8)
I was hoping he would get something useful like protection, attack, defense or hp as a heroic ability but he ended up with battle bellow. Didn't seem like fear works in an assassination attempt so it was pretty useless, oh well. Still entertaining to see Fear (+19) as a character trait.
