Re: The Summoned Creature Quick Reference
with regard to the Magic Items Quick Ref.:
I compared the 2.6 and the 2.8 Version pdfs and the icons are definitely of a lower resolution in the 2.8 Version. I don't understand this, but it certainly seems to be the case. [this is on-screen at high magnification levels, using the same app to view both]
Also, is the new weapon added in 2.08 [Light Lance] included? I couldn't find it on there, but I may have missed it.
Other than those questions my feedback is entirely positive - great document, looks fantastic and is a very helpful resource (much more so than the manual's section on items).
Also I had an idea for the Summoned Creature Quick Reference, which is something you might have already decided *not* to implement, but I'll suggest it anyway:
I think it would be cool to have a line or two commentary for each summoned creature by a veteran - such as 'vinemen are mediocre, but cheap summons which work well with poisonous creatures/attacks, but their slow summoning rate makes it difficult to get high enough numbers of them to really make a difference.' Especially for new players (or players new to certain magic paths) this might be helpful info to add, since there are just so many summons to choose from.

As Zen mentioned, the graphics are ripped directly from the game. The issue of "low-res" probably comes about because the icons used are from the 1600x1200 icon set, which are the right size when creating the pdf but become reduced by Acrobat when the document is made - thus the issue is that the icons are resized, and appear smeared or "low-res." I think it also has to do with the pdf conVersion - when I looked at them in the Excel master file they look great, but when it was converted to pdf they ended up much worse.
If someone has a complete symbol set from a smaller resolution (say, 800x600) I could re-do them with those, but the effect would not be much better (I think) because the images would be lower resolution. I would be happy to re-do them if the effect can be improved, though.

If this is true then obviously the icons can look better than in 2.8 - namely by going back to the icons in 2.6.
So there is no need to get a completely new symbol set or anything like that.

Re: The Summoned Creature Quick Reference
I did not have the resolution set to High when I made the PDF on 2.08. So I will make a new Version with a high resolution. It was an error on my part with Adobe. So if the icons look decent in 2.06 we can keep them, if they look bad, we can look to rerip new icons at a different resolution maybe.

Re: The Summoned Creature Quick Reference
I think they look fine in 2.6, but a little blocky in 2.8
also, Zen, is that new item that I asked about below planned to be included?

Re: The Summoned Creature Quick Reference
To be quite honest, I can't find one ;P I have a mage with 4 Holy and 9 in every path and he still can't forge one so AFAIK it's not a magical item, but a normal weapon type. Unless I'm missing something. I spend alot of time looking at that forge item screen and it may be messing with me.

Ok - I did not know if Pocus' complaint referred to the previous Version (2.6) which was done at High Quality (and thus was a separate complaint from yours), or the following Version which was not. When I was doing the first go-round I used slightly larger icons - it looked better, but they didn't fit once it go to the large, multi-path items. So I had to shrink all of them.
