Why would luck/misfortune effect frequency? doesnt make sense. It seems like everyone wants less events, and now that scale is worthless as most will leave it balanced.

I want events.
They're something that can change your strategy, and make it not so mathematical.
Revolts, barbarians hordes, enexpected allies or efficient governorns and so on are facts common to a medieval fantasy world.

I totally agree. But I think the strategy multiplayers would tend to want less. Since Im mostly solo-play Id love to see more. After all there is a frequency selector when you make the game.
