Re: Mictlan AAR: Faerun
a priest of the moon has 2 blood 2 astral... he's basically been binding fiends the whole time. Tzeentch unfortunately got himself feebleminded, and blood isnt much for curing afflictions. i believe from burden of time...though why it would effect a pretender is beyond me. I tried to cast gift of health twice but pangeas GoH overwhelmed mine... i tried to dispel pangeas once too, with no success. My gods been sitting in my home province most of the game, feebleminded, with my devils and arch devils out leading my armies to victory.

He's still a living being, so there's no reason for it not to affect him.

Re: Mictlan AAR: Faerun
Ahh yes... but i cant picture a god getting old. Can you? And a funnier thing is... my prophet is completely unaffected, now maybe he got lucky, and prophets normally suffer the effects of Burden of Time... but if being a prophet immunizes you, doesnt it seem silly that being a god does not? The flavor text for one of the least godly of gods... the archmage, specifically states that he has mastered his own mortality.

Your pretender isn't a god.

Being a prophet has no effect whatsoever.

Moot point. I think he is, one of the many lesser gods, seeking to claim Throne of Heavens for himself and destroy all his peers who oppose him.
He also can be considered a demi-god if you like. But whatever he is, he is certanly more than mere mortal.

Re: Mictlan AAR: Faerun
..use the "Healing Gods" - mod for your next game. I use it in every game - don't like them dying from diseases etc. too.
And it actually makes the game 1,54% harder, as the AI regularly gathers afflictions on it's pretenders and seemingly doesn't have a clue how to get rid of them, if it notices at all. And there are many more AI pretenders, at least at the beginning
Nicely written AAR, keep going...
