Re: My PBW games, late game, and replacing
Since it is my thread, I should be the one to hijack it. At least, I should preside over any hijacking attempt.
This attempt at levity aside, there is a way to achieve what you would like to do. Cut and paste the strategy file from USM in Proportions, and create a new Empire. Voilà! You have a Proportions Empire file with USM strategies. You cannot alter the Empire files themselves however; besides, USM and Proportions Empire files are not comptabible with each other (they have different advanced traits).
Now I am going back to my hopeful quest for a replacing player loving economics.

You can add new strategies manually in game via the Strategies screen. It is accessed from the Empire Status screen (crown button). You can not just cut and paste them in for a game in progress, however.

Re: My PBW games, late game, and replacing
I would love to take over one of your games, but alas! I am already in 10 games, and do not think I can handle any more. But dont' go away, I might manage to squeeze another in We'll see.

Re: My PBW games, late game, and replacing
If you can convince Fyron (blackmail? Glamour?), perhaps you might switch sides in Adamant 011? Say, if your hive is becoming boring and you would like the challenge of challenging Asmala with an Empire almost as powerful as his; that ought to be interested. You even have a research junkie Empire, meaning your research per turn is more of less 700,000 research points (the Wisdom Shrines are amazing).

Re: My PBW games, late game, and replacing
An hopeful bump; the games mentioned below (or above, depending on the order Posts are displayed) are still looking for another player. All of them are beyond the early stage of "colonise, build, colonise, build, become a powerful Empire", and entering the moment of conflicts with other players.

Re: My PBW games, late game, and replacing
I would love to do the reasonable thing, and enforce my crank down on SEIV (mostly because I simply do not feel like spending much time on playing games when getting back from school). Hence the shameless bump, mainly for the new players on the Boards.
The following games are looking for a replacing player:
- 001 Ultimate Gate (Devnull mod): Remote-mining, Stellar Manipulation and the power of Base Space Yards. A minor power, though with a mighty defensive potential.
- Adamant 011 (Adamant mod): Stellar Manipulation, a colonial power, a research powerhouse, a decent fleet and a strong ally. You are the second most powerful Empire in the galaxy, and doing fairly well. Interesting if you want to see how a slow war between powers occur.
- Adamant 013 and Adamant 014 (Adamant mod): You have colonial powerful Empires, and the initial investment is paying off. Adamant 014 is halted however, so you may not wish to take over this game.
- RTV Dertran game: A mail is on your way Kwok, though I am not sure if I should really get replaced there.
