Creating a new MP game-Musical chairs

Looks like several people are still having problems connecting since we are near the time limit for this turn and we still have 4 (I think) who haven't gone..

I am curious - is anyone having a more severe waiting to connect problem lately who HASN'T upgraded to Windows XP SP 2? That is causing quite the commotion with a lot of games and I know I started having more problems just about right after I upgraded...

I haven't upgraded to SP2 yet. 75 mb download is too big for dial-up. I occasionally have problems connecting to this game, but brute force (trying lots of times) seems to work.

I effectively staled on turn 36 when I accidentally hit "End Turn" when I intended to "Save and Quit". I then reconnected immediately and saw that it had hosted. So if anyone sent me any important Messages, I didn't see them. Please PM me if required.

I upgraded tp SP2, I had to reinstall most network drivers, and to update a lot of software too.

And I had my bunch of problems connecting for a while (begininning of week). Now it seems better.

Did Atlantis just stale for the past two turns?

He didn't stale the turn before this, but seems to stale about every 5 or 6 turns...

I am stopping the game because of some unknown bug. A large battle was fought between two nations and one side was wiped out. Problem is the turn message is reversed and the wrong side has troops left on the map. I will try to resolve asap. (epic fight not some trivial skirmish)
