I was looking for something similar to Starfleet Battles (and found the Starfleet Command series, btw) and stumbled upon SEIII. Played it for a while without knowing that SEIV was out. When I found out about SEIV, SEIV Gold was in the works and about to be released, so I bought SEIV Gold and the rest is history.

Many years ago, I found the SEIII demo when I was searching for strategy games while looking at a games site. Downloaded it and started playing... I have been addicted since.
